Emberly is a licensed acupuncturist and East
Asian Medical Practitioner. Prior to receiving a Masters of Science in
Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Bastyr University, she acquired
her undergraduate degree from The Evergreen State College with an
emphasis in Health Science. While attending Bastyr University, Emberly
traveled to Shanghai, China and completed an externship at Shuguan &
Longua hospitals including departments of Traumatology, Internal
Medicine, & Gynecology.
Emberly practices Traditional Chinese
Medicine which embraces the concept of the body and mind being
connected as an integrated whole. If there arises an imbalance between
them, we feel pain, discomfort, and emotional distress among other
symptoms of disharmony. Chinese medicine uses acupuncture and a
variety of other treatment techniques to harmonize these imbalances.
All of which have been proven effective based off of thousands of
years of methodical observation, trial and error, and basic instinct.
Emberly’s primary goal in treatment is to stimulate the body’s
natural self-healing abilities, which improves quality of life and
helps patients reach their maximum level of health. She has experience
treating a wide variety of conditions, using a holistic approach that
is unique to each individual. Emberly specializes in pain management
and psychoemotional health, and is also passionate about digestive
issues and women’s health.
Emberly looks forward to working with you to
attain and sustain the level of health you seek – mind, body, and
spirit.
